Atlantis Pendants
you are now part of the exhibit
glow glass shards, or known scientifically as uranium glass, are hand-wrapped with highly-conducive copper wire to create these extraterrestrial pendants. uranium glass is known for its light yellow/green color, but when exposed to UV light (like by the sun or a blacklight), it glows bright. these piece in particular are from the 1940s and were dug out of the Ohio River.
uranium glass dates back to the 1830s and though it does contain radiation, it is in such small amounts that handling (and wearing!) this pendant does not cause harm — just don’t ingest it, okay?
please note: once added to cart, you will be prompted to select which chain size you would like.
